You can sign up with an existing account or create a profile from scratch.
Ways to sign up
- With your Google account;
- With your X (formerly Twitter) account;
- By creating an account from scratch, with a nickname, e-mail and password.
How to fill in the sign-up form
- Enter your nickname, the name you want to be seen by on the platform;
- Provide a valid e-mail for contact and confirmation;
- Create a secure password: at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character (such as @, #, $, %, *).
Account confirmation
You will receive an e-mail with the subject "Welcome to Privacy!". Open the message and follow the instructions to activate your profile. Also check the spam and junk folders.
Protect your account from the start
After activating the account, we recommend turning on two-factor authentication under Security and Privacy. With it, access requires your password and a code generated by an authenticator app.
